"I have been serving and policing the communities of Derbyshire for over 15 years.
Starting as a Special Constable at Derby East before joining the regulars, I have policed Long Eaton, Peartree, Derby East and Derby North areas south of the county. Following this I joined the operations division and spent 7 years as a Dog Handler before being promoted back to response policing at Derbyshire Dales for the last 3 years.
This is my first SNT supervision role and I am extremely excited to be leading the teams at Killamarsh, Eckington , Dronfield, Unstone, Whitwell, Clowne and Barlborough. I look forward to driving my team to tackle the type of criminality that is having a real impact on local communities but to also provide support for the most vulnerable, making those communities a safer place to live.
I am keen to strengthen and bolster the work we currently undertake with our partner agencies to utilise a partnership approach, giving us the best opportunity to resolve the issues that matter to you the most. When I am not at work I enjoy spending quality time with my family, cooking, playing guitar, playing 5 a side football."
When Sergeant Molloy is out and about keeping our streets safe, please feel free to stop and say hello. He’s always happy to chat about any local issues or concerns.
